Thursday May 4th 

My love Wouter, friend Zahra and lovely parents joined me on an early morning to Schiphol Airport so I could get my flight at 11:08. I flew from Amsterdam to Chicago to hop on another plane to Anchorage, ALASKA. Everything during the flight went well, I was lucky as I supposed to fly May 3rd and due to the delay they gave me an upgrade. The seat next to me was free so I could lay comfortably and sleep for most of the 9 hours of the flight.

The layover was only 3 hours, so a nice coffee and ready to get on the next flight. I had chosen a seat all the way in the back of the plane next to the window and a toddler with his mom was seated next to me. I knew they were flying with the three of them so I offered to switch seats with the third traveler without knowing she was seated in an upgrade category of which the seat next to it was free too! Lucky lucky me, this provided me of a more luxury flight the second time. 

Arriving in Anchorage, my dear friend Andrew Kurka picked me up and we went straight to the cinema to meet with friends and watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2. That movie is such a recommendation to everyone! It was hilarious and cute. Once we had our laughters we drove to Wasilla and got to bed, fell asleep immediately.
